Music and Lyrics
We went to see Music and Lyrics on Sunday. I say, this is a great film. Well, maybe great isn’t the word to use, it was very good. Certainly it’s not a life altering affair, but it is good. The previews and trailers were a horrible horrible thing. They didn’t do the film justice. Casting was good, the story was good, the dialog worked for me. There were some great transitions and special effects (not something I’d expect). I liked how they were poking fun at Christina/Britney/Shakira/Madonna and the current ostentatious generation of pop stars. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fake songs. Some of them I think could do quite well in the real world. Go watch it!
