BeyondTV 4 disappointment
Well, it was bound to happen to me. My several few tests of the new DivX Showsqueeze options were great, so I decided that I would try doing a show with automatic Showsqueeze (and automatic deletion of the source MPEG). In watching it the next day, it was aweful. The audio was out of sync as others had reported on the Snapstream forums. I’m glad the recording wasn’t one of my regular shows, but it was a pretty big disappointment to see it happen. I guess I won’t be relying on it to save me some disk space.
